2017년도가 시작된지도 벌써 두 달이 지나가고 있습니다. 올해는 주말 포함 총 68일의 휴일이 정해져 있는데 이미 올해 휴가 계획을 세우신 분도 계시고 아닌분도 계실거라 생각 합니다. 저는 아직 올해 휴가 계획을 세우지 못했지만 우연히 달력을 보니 올해에는 휴가를 하루 이틀만 붙이면 장기간 휴가를 갈 수 있는 날이 있었습니다. 만약 그런 날에 대체 공휴일이 된다면 정말 좋을 것 같은 바램이 있네요. 그래서 오늘은 2017년 대체 공휴일에 대해 알아 보도록 하겠습니다.

It's been already almost two months passed since 2017 is started. There is total 68 holidays in this year including Sat and Sun and I believe that some of you already have the plan for vacation of 2017 and some of you don't. I didn't plan it yet but I found that there are few periods that we can go for a long term holiday if we get few days off. I really hope that those days could be the subsitute holiday by the goverment so that we can go oversea or something. So I'm going to look into the subsitute holidays of 2017 today.

 

 

■ 대체공휴일 ( Subsitute Holiday )

 

대체공휴일이란 ( What is subsitute holiday? )

- 설날, 추석 연휴가 다른 공휴일과 겹치는 경우 그 날 다음의 첫 번째 비공휴일을 공휴일로 함

- 어린이날이 토요일 또는 다른 공휴일과 겹치는 경우 그 날 다음의 첫 번째 비공휴일을 공휴일로 함

- In case of Lunar new year's or Thanks giving day is duplicated with other holiday then the next nomal day will be set as subsitute holiday.

- In case of Children's day is duplicated with saturday or other holiday then the next nomal day will be set as subsitute holiday.

 

2017년 대체공휴일 ( Subsitute holiday in 2017 )

- 2017년 설    | 1월27일(금), 1월28일(설), 1월29일(일),【 1월30일(월) ▶ 대체공휴일 】 (총 4일)

 

- 2017년 추석 | 10월3일(화), 10월4일(추석), 10월5일(목),【 10월6일(금) ▶ 대체공휴일 】,10월7일(토), 10월8일(일) (총 6일)

- Lunar New Year's day in 2017 | 27th Jan(Fri), 28th Jan(Sat), 29th Jan(Sun),【30th Jan(Mon) ▶ Subsitute holiday】 (Total 4 days)

 

- Thanks Giving day in 2017 | 3rd Oct(Tue), 4th Oct(Wed), 5th Oct(Thu),【6th Oct(Fri) ▶ Subsitute holiday】, 7th(Sat), 8th(Sun) (Total 6 days)

 

2017년 5월 휴일 ( Holiday of May in 2017 )

 

▼ 2017년 5월 휴일은 아래와 같이 2일과 4일에 휴가를 사용하면 총 9일을 쉴 수 있게 됩니다. 국회에서 해당 날짜를 임시 공휴일로 지정할 수도 있다는 말들이 돌고 있는 상황이라 매우 기대가 되지만 현 나라 상태를 고려하면 지정안될 가능성이 많아 보입니다.

    As you can see from below calendar, if you take a leave on 2nd and 4th of May then you can take 9 days holidays in a row. Goverment is thinking about setting those days as temporary holiday so it would be very nice if it happens but I don't see many possibilities because Korea is kind of chaos at the moment.
